Premier League duo Swansea City and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Raul Jimenez from Atletico Madrid this summer.

Swansea City are interested in signing Raul Jimenez from Atletico Madrid this summer, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Welsh outfit are ready to make a loan move for the 24-year-old striker.

The Sun claims that West Ham United are also interested in signing the Mexico international, but their Premier League rivals will fight for him if they can sell Michu this summer.

Swansea City or West Ham United?

Both Swansea and West Ham are ambitious clubs, and both the teams will be aiming for a top-10 finish in the Premier League this season.

From that perspective, Jimenez has little to choose between the two teams, which means that he should make a decision based on the playing time he will get in the 2015-16 campaign.

Last season, the Mexican scored one goal and created eight chances in 21 La Liga appearances for Atletico.

Jimenez had a pass accuracy of 70% and a shot accuracy of 63%, and won 20 headers, three dribbles and 11 tackles.
