Tottenham Hotspur's teenage talent impressed yet again on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur put out a young side for their pre-season friendly against Stevenage on Saturday, with Spurs running out 2-0 winners courtesy of goals from Nathan Oduwa and Ismail Azzaoui.

The former was taken off midway through the first-half with a head injury but he has since been given the all-clear, while the latter continued his brilliant form this summer.

Azzaoui may only be 17, but he was crowned Player of the Tournament at the recent National U21 Tournament in France and the Belgian scored yet again this weekend to reemphasise just how good he is.

In many ways Saturday’s line-up could be viewed as a Tottenham side of the future, with the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyle Walker-Peters and Milos Veljkovic all playing a part.

The future is bright at White Hart Lane, no doubt about that, and if this crop of teenagers can continue on their current trajectory the Tottenham faithful have plenty to look forward to further down the line.
