Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Henri Lansbury on Saturday.
The 24-year-old midfielder featured for Forest against Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly game at home.
The former Arsenal prospect was the captain for the Reds and played for the entire 90 minutes at the City Ground.
Lansbury gave a good account of himself against Premier League outfit Villa and scored Forest’s second goal in the 3-3 draw.
The midfielder was also creative and once again underlined his importance for Dougie Freedman’s side.
The 24-year-old has been on the books of Forest since 2012 and has established himself as one of the best players in the team.
Last season, Lansbury scored 10 goals and created 75 chances in 39 Championship appearances.
The former England Under-21 international had a pass accuracy of 77% and a shot accuracy of 39%, and won 41 headers, 10 dribbles and 47 tackles.
Following Saturday’s match against Villa, Forest fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Lansbury.
