Jay Bothroyd gives his take on the Di Maria situation

Angel Di Maria Argentina

Manchester United’s Angel di Maria has been linked with a move away, while Raheem Sterling joined Manchester City from Liverpool earlier this summer.

Former Queens Park Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jay Bothroyd has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the Angel di Maria situation.

According to The Mirror, the Argentina international winger is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain from Manchester United.

Di Maria did not board the flight to the USA to join his United teammates on their pre-season tour.

Bothroyd, who plays for Japanese club Jubilo Iwata at the moment, believes that the former Real Madrid attacker has behaved far worse than Raheem Sterling, who left Liverpool for Premier League rivals Manchester City earlier this summer.

It seems that Di Maria does not want to play for United any more, and perhaps it would be best for the Red Devils if they let him leave.

Sterling was clearly not happy at Liverpool, and the Merseyside outfit made the right decision by selling him to City.
