Here is how Stoke City will line up for their match against FC Porto:
Stoke City starting XI: Given, Cameron, Wollscheid, Wilson, Moseley, Whelan, Adam, Diouf, Bojan, Arnautovic, Crouch
Stoke City subs: Gyollai, Haugaard, Odemwingie, Teixeira, Choulay, Shenton, Telford, Lecygne, Waddington
Stoke City play their final pre-season match of the summer this afternoon when they take on Portuguese club FC Porto.
Mark Hughes’ side began their preparations for the new campaign with two matches in the Asia Trophy, losing on penalties to Everton before defeating a Singapore Select XI 2-0.
From there Stoke ran out comfortable 6-0 winners against Wrexham before losing against both Brentford and Cologne.
This is Stoke’s final chance to get another win under their belts before they take on Liverpool in their Premier League opener next weekend, and it will be interesting to see if Hughes’ men can maintain the hoodoo they seem to have over Brendan Rodgers’ side in just a few short days.
Stoke have impressed with their summer signings and the trick now is to ensure they are all sufficiently settled for the many challenges yet to come.
Porto will not be easy opponents, but do not put it past Hughes’ side to get a victory this afternoon.
