Here is how Southampton will line up for their match against Espanyol:
Southampton starting XI: K. Davis, Martina, Fonte, Caulker, Targett, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Long, Juanmi, Rodriguez, Pelle

Southampton may have already kicked off the competitive action with a 3-0 win against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa League last week, but they still have one more friendly before their new Premier League campaign begins next weekend.
This afternoon’s match sees Ronald Koeman’s men come up against Spanish side Espanyol and given the new signings at St Mary’s this summer it will be another chance for some of those players to settle into their surroundings.
Southampton have had a mixed pre-season, winning against Groningen, Quick ’20 and Feyenoord but losing against Salzburg, Valencia and Leipzig.
Their players have one last chance to impress, before the second leg against Vitesse on Thursday is quickly followed by their league game against Newcastle United just three days later.
Of all Southampton’s recent signings, Cedric Soares and Jordy Clasie are expected to have the biggest impact and it will be interesting to see how they do in place of Nathaniel Clyne and Morgan Schneiderlin respectively.
