Here is how Liverpool will line up for their match against Swindon Town this weekend:
Liverpool starting XI: Bogdan, Alexandar-Arnold, Moreno, Toure, Sakho, Lucas, Markovic, Can, Allen, Firmino, Benteke,
Liverpool subs: Fulton, Cleary, Ojo, Chirivella, Maguire, Kent
Many of Liverpool’s first-team players were involved in Saturday’s friendly against Helsinki but there are still plenty of notable selections for this match just 24 hours later.
Summer signings Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke both start and it will be the first chance for the duo to show they can develop an effective attacking partnership.
If they bring their previous form to Anfield then Liverpool fans are in for a treat, although it is likely to take them some time to settle; Firmino in particular given his new surroundings and his participation in the recent Copa America.
Liverpool have not given themselves a particularly tough pre-season and time will tell if that helps or hinders them when the action kicks off against Stoke City next weekend.
Fellow summer signing Adam Bogdan also starts in what is a strong line-up, while 16-year-old full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is given the chance of a lifetime to play alongside the likes of Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho.
Emre Can also features as he bids to ensure he starts the season as a first-choice for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
