Petr Cech emphasised to Chelsea just what they gave away, by helping Arsenal to a Community Shield victory over their rivals.
The goalkeeper completed the surprise transfer earlier this summer, and remains the Gunners biggest signing of the off-season to date.
His performance in the 1-0 victory drew plenty of praise, including from outspoken Arsenal fan Piers Morgan.
This became notable when Cech himself decided to respond, thanking the former tabloid editor for his kind words.
Morgan remains a figure who splits opinion among the Arsenal support, seen as happy to gloat when they win, but quick to push an Arsene Wenger out agenda when they lose.
The Mirror reported at the end of last season how midfielder Aaron Ramsey snubbed the offer of a handshake from Morgan, after his previous criticism of him.
Whether his relationship with Cech remains cordial will likely depend on the club's results over the coming seasons...
