With one month left of the Transfer Window, Tottenham Hotspur must sign a striker this summer

Christian Eriksen and Soldado Spurs

Spurs need to make a move for a striker in the transfer market, to help out Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur go into the new season hoping to make a serious dent on a Champions League race this campaign.

However, looking at the squad right now, they are some way off the finished article.

The likes of Delle Alli, Kieran Tripper and Kevin Wimmer are good signings – whilst returning youngster Alex Pritchard will also be a key player. However, more must be done before the season starts and the transfer window slams shut in a month.

With a month left of the Transfer Window, where do Tottenham need to strengthen most of all?

The club need to strengthen several positions. They could do with another centre-back whilst their wide options look to be slim. A genuine box-to-box dynamo would not go amiss either.

But the gaping hole remains in the striking position.

Harry Kane was terrific last term but had no support and it eventually took its toll on the England international.

Roberto Soldado has proved a woeful buy and Emmanuel Adebayor is as disruptive as ever.

Spurs need a new striker to provide serious competition and support to Kane up top.

Plenty of names have been linked and if Spurs can get their hands on any of them they would soon become real Champions League contenders this term.
