Leeds United had over 17,000 spectators for their pre-season friendly game against Everton at Elland Road earlier today.
The West Yorkshire outfit took on Premier League side Everton in their final pre-season friendly match at home.
There were as many as 17,057 spectators at Elland Road, with all but 1734 of them Leeds fans.
Rosler, who was appointed the Championship club’s head coach earlier this summer, was impressed with the support his side got for the friendly match.
Rosler hails the "fantastic" supporters today: "I'm not used to 17 thousand fans at a pre-season friendly - it inspired the players." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) August 1, 2015
Leeds may be playing in the Championship at the moment, but they have some of the best supporters in England.
The Whites have not featured in the Premier League since 2004, but they regularly get over 20,000 fans for competitive fixtures at Elland Road.
Leeds will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and maintain a chance of playing in the Premier League in the 2016-17 campaign.
