Two draws… Predicting Celtic’s first six Scottish Premiership games

As the 2015-16 Scottish Premiership campaign gets underway, we take a closer look at Celtic’s six games this month…

Celtic v Ross County

Celtic have been playing well in pre-season and have got some positive results, which means that they should be able to win against Ross County with ease.

The Bhoys will head into this afternoon’s game at Celtic Park as favourites, and one should not be surprised if they register a comprehensive victory.

Prediction: 3-0

Partick Thistle v Celtic

The first away game of the league season is always tricky, and Celtic could find it tough to win at the Firhill Stadium.

The Hoops could even go behind, but Ronny Deila’s side should be able to pick up all three points in the end.

Prediction: 1-2

Kilmarnock v Celtic

Kilmarnock struggled for survival in the Scottish Premiership for much of the 2014-15 season, and they could face a similar battle this term.

Celtic should be able to collect all three points from their away game against Gary Locke’s side with ease.

Prediction: 0-2

Celtic v Inverness Caledonian Thistle

This would be Celtic’s first big test in their aim to win the Scottish Premiership title for the fifth season in a row.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle finished third in the league table last season and will be looking for similar success this term.

A draw could be the eventual outcome at Celtic Park.

Prediction: 1-1

Dundee United v Celtic

Dundee United will be looking to challenge for a European spot and will not make it easy for the Hoops at home.

However, Celtic should be able to pick up all three points from this fixture.

Prediction: 1-3

Celtic v St Johnston

St Johnston finished fourth in the Premiership table last season, and they will once again be aiming for a similar position.

Celtic may be at home for this fixture, but they will not be given an easy ride.

Prediction: 2-2
