Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the signing of Lucas Joao.
The 21-year-old striker has joined the Championship outfit from Portuguese Primeira Liga side Nacional on a four-year contract.
The Angolan is a highly-rated youngster who will be looking to play a key role in the Owls’ objective to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
Joao began his career as a youth with Beira Mar Atletico Clube Almada after moving to Portugal as a teenager.
In 2011 he signed for Nacional and moved out on loan to SC Mirandela to gain first-team experience.
After impressing with Mirandela, the youngster returned to Nacional for the 2013-14 campaign and has now moved to Wednesday.
Joao, who has scored three goals in as many appearances for the Portugal Under-21 side, becomes Wednesday’s ninth new recruit of the summer.
Following the arrival of Joao, Wednesday fans took to Twitter to have their say.

If Joao is the big name CC was talking about I'm very disappointed. Promised a proven championship goal scorer just to sell tickets #swfc— Lee Woodhouse ™ (@lee_woodhouse87) July 31, 2015
Would love to see Stevie May and Lucas Joao upfront together. Can't see it happening though, looks like it will just be 1 up top. #SWFC— Josh Bradshaw (@Jaybe07) July 31, 2015
Lucas Joao seems like the kind of player we've been after. Untested in the Championship of course but he seems like a beast... #swfc— Matt Gaughan (@chubbygorn) July 31, 2015
