Confirmed: Leeds United and Everton line-ups

Here is how Leeds United and Everton will line up for today’s match:

Leeds starting XI: Silvestri, Berardi, Bamba, Bellusci, Taylor, Adeyemi, Cook, Mowatt, Byram, Doukara, Wood

Leeds subs: Turnbull, Coyle, Wootton, Cooper, Phillips, Sloth, Antenucci, Erwin, Morison, Horton

Everton starting XI: Joel, Robinson, Pennington, Browning, Jones, McCarthy, Barkley, Oviedo, Dowell, Naismith, Kone

Everton subs: Stanek, Mirallas, Cleverley, Osman, McAleny, Grant, Ledson, Walsh

Leeds United welcome Everton to Elland Road this weekend for the Whites’ last pre-season friendly of the summer.

The same cannot be said for Everton, who will follow up this match with a game against Villarreal 24 hours later.

That is a testimonial for former Everton star Duncan Ferguson but it is still likely to see a number of current Toffees players taking part.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has already admitted he will play two different teams this weekend and with both the Championship and the Premier League just a week away from kicking off both clubs will be keen to get a win under their belts this afternoon.

Leeds especially could do with a victory having failed to earn one in their senior friendlies so far this summer.

Two draws and two defeats mean Leeds manager Uwe Rosler has plenty to think about but there have still been positives to take and with a god start his side are in with a chance of pushing for promotion back to the top flight.
