Arsenal defender Calum Chambers sends message on Twitter ahead of Chelsea clash

Mathieu Debuchy and Arsenal celebrate (Chambers included)

Arsenal will face Premier League rivals Chelsea in the FA Community Shield at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement ahead of Sunday’s FA Community Shield clash against Chelsea.

The Gunners will be looking to kick off the 2014-15 campaign with victory over the Premier League champions.

The 20-year-old defender trained with his Arsenal teammates earlier today and is looking forward to tomorrow’s game at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Importance of a win

Although the Community Shield is not hugely prestigious, a win for Arsenal will boost their confidence ahead of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign.

The North London outfit have a very good and competitive squad, and they will be determined to claim the league title this season.

Victory over defending Premier League champions Chelsea will also be a boost psychologically.

However, defeating Jose Mourinho’s side will not be easy, as the Blues themselves will be keen on starting the new season with a bang.
