We take a closer look at the players currently at West Ham United's disposal.
The Hammers have impressed with their summer transfer business, bringing in players who have considerably strengthened the squad and suggested the future is very bright under new manager Slaven Bilic.
Their star signing is undeniably Dimitri Payet, the assist-king who has warmed up for the more important action to come with some fine showings in pre-season.
Martin Samuelsen also looks like a real gem although the teenage midfielder will not yet be included in West Ham’s strongest available side.
With Carl Jenkinson returning for another season on loan the Hammers have solved the issue at right-back – at least for now – while Aaron Cresswell should continue to shine on the opposite flank, and with Payet providing the ammunition, the likes of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia should score plenty of goals.
