Video: Rio Ferdinand recreates famous goal for Manchester United against Liverpool

Rio Ferdinand might have created the start of imaginary football.

We've got a lot of time for Rio Ferdinand, he played over 300 times for Manchester United, won 81 caps for England and picked up six Premier League titles.

And just when you think you can't appreciate him any more, he goes and recreates one of his most famous moments in a United shirt...whilst on a boat!

90th minute vs Liverpool.. Stretford End #ooooooooff #mufc

While Rio is off enjoying his holidays, he decided to show he has still got his great leaping ability and managed to give us a throwback to his thumping header in the 90th minute against Liverpool back in 2006. The 36-year-old managed to jump off a boat, and get great contact with the imaginary ball before shouting 'STRATFORD END'.

We can't wait to see some more imaginary football from retired footballers, like David Beckham's imaginary free-kick or Roy Keane's imaginary elbow and headbutt.

Come to think of it, we might be on to something here!
