Manchester City have just over a week to decide whether they are willing to sell striker Edin Dzeko to AS Roma for €20 million.
That is according to a report from Italian sports publication La Gazetta dello Sport, who are claiming that the Giallorossi have issued City with an ultimatum concerning the Bosnian forward.
According to the news source, Roma have tabled their bid for the striker and have set a deadline of August 10th for the Sky Blues to decide whether it matches their valuation of the player.
Dzeko has long been linked with a move away from the Etihad, following the mid-season arrival of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City in the 2014/15 campaign.
The big money signing of Raheem Sterling has only added to the level of uncertainty surrounding the Bosnian’s future, and it now looks like it could lie away from the Premier League.
Dzeko has scored 71 goals in 185 appearances for City to date, but managed just four goals in 22 Premier League games last term.
