Liverpool are just over a week away from beginning their new Premier League campaign with a match against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium and there are a number of new faces for manager Brendan Rodgers to call on.
Liverpool have been one of the busiest clubs in terms of transfers this summer, bringing in the likes of Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Christian Benteke, and the trick now is to mould them into an effective side.
Liverpool’s early league games are a minefield and the Reds will have to start as they mean to go on if they do not want to be cut adrift after just a few months, and they certainly have the players to cause any and all opponents a real problem.
One key factor will be how quickly Firmino settles at Anfield because when on form the Brazilian international is deadly in front of goal.
