Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler is closing in on a raid on former club Brentford for Northern Ireland winger Stuart Dallas, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Rosler is looking for a new winger to finalise his squad for the new Championship season and has identified Dallas as his top target.
Dallas was signed by Rosler in 2012 when the German was in charge of Brentford, with the midfielder being picked up from Irish side Crusaders.
The 24-year-old has really progressed in his three years at Brentford and was an integral part of the side that reached the Championship play-off semi-finals last season.
Dallas scored eight goals in all competitions last term and is a key member of Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland squad as they look to qualify for next summer's Euro 2016 finals in France.
Brentford are reluctant to lose Dallas, but Leeds are hopeful of agreeing a deal to bring the wide man to Elland Road.
