HITC Sports understands that a host of clubs are chasing Crawley Town hit-man Izale McLeod, with the Red Devils resigned to losing him.
Barnsley, Notts County and Southend United are among a number of clubs chasing Crawley Town forward Izale McLeod, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
McLeod finds himself in high demand after scoring 21 goals last season for Crawley, with the club facing up to losing their prized asset in the wake of their relegation to League Two.
The 30-year-old started his career at Derby County before he came to prominence at MK Dons, scoring 60 goals in 135 appearances between 2004 and 2007.
After three productive seasons at MK Dons, McLeod earned a move to Charlton Athletic, but he started only seven league games in his three years at The Valley.
There followed spells at Barnet in League Two and Portsmouth, in League One, before McLeod returned to MK Dons for a second spell at the club.
McLeod joined Crawley last summer and was their shining light in what proved to be a disappointing campaign.
Crawley are now ready to cash in on the striker with Barnsley, Notts County and Southend all showing an interest in the proven goalscorer.
