The midfielders should feature for Leeds United this weekend according to reports.

According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler is confident that he will have two previously injured midfielders available for the weekend clash with Everton.

The two sides go head-to-head in what is Leeds’ last pre-season friendly of the summer, with the opening Championship match against Burnley just a few days away, and Lewis Cook and Tommaso Bianchi could both feature.

Leeds have not had the best of summers to date in terms of results, with their tour of Austria and Norway seeing them lose 2-1 to both Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim.

Prior to that Leeds’ senior side drew 1-1 with Harrogate Town and York City and they will be hoping to get a win on the board before the competitive action kicks off this weekend.

Cook will be integral to Leeds this season and Rosler will not rush him back after he limped off against Hoffenheim.

Bianchi should also have a vital role to play if he is over the problems that saw him miss the last 16 league games last season.

With plenty of summer signings to bed in, the match against Everton will be another chance for Rosler to get the side playing the way he wants…something that was always going to take time.
