The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne has told Ekstra Bladet in Denmark that there have been no talks over a move to Liverpool.

Digne, 22, has been with PSG for two years but has struggled to displace Maxwell as the first choice left back at the Parc des Princes - and the Daily Mail reported earlier this week that Liverpool had opened talks over a deal for the Frenchman, despite signing left back Alberto Moreno from Sevilla last summer.

Now, agent Mikkel Beck has told Ekstra Bladet that whilst there is interest in Digne's signature, there have been no talks held with the Reds.

"A Liverpool move? That's not right. They have not given me permission to talk to Liverpool," said Beck. "I cannot comment on the clubs' names, but there is interest from several large teams. We have to see if something will come eventually, but that is what is being worked on. Lucas is not 100% satisfied with the situation in Paris," he added.

Meanwhile, Marca report that Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi has rejected a move to Anfield - as former Reds boss Rafael Benitez wants to give a chance in the first team.

The former Real Sociedad star has become the forgotten man at the Bernabeu despite a big money money just two years ago, though he has allegedly snubbed a move to Liverpool this summer.

Finally, reports from the Daily Mirror suggest that Bologna are interested in handing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli a return to Italy.

The Reds forward endured a torrid debut season at Liverpool having arrived from AC Milan last summer, and with no future at Anfield following the signings of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, Balotelli may be on his way out of the club.

Finding a suitor for a controversial figure like Balotelli will be difficult, but Bologna are reportedly looking to bring him back to Serie A this summer.
