The striker had been linked with moves to Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea.
AFC Bournemouth seem to have put an end to any debate over the future of their striker Callum Wilson after he signed a new deal at the club earlier today.
The striker, who has one England under-21 cap to his name, has signed a new four-year deal to remain with The Cherries for the foreseeable future.
It comes after an excellent season for the club last term. He scored 23 goals in 50 games for the club last season after his arrival from Coventry City this time last year as Bournemouth won the Championship last term.
Wilson’s form attracted plenty of suitors this summer.
In May ESPN reported that Arsenal were keen on the young striker, which Arsene Wenger then went on to refute.
Aston Villa were linked with a move for the player by The Independent earlier in the month whilst Chelsea were linked by The Express back in February as the striker continued to impress in the Championship.
Now however Bournemouth fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Their goal getter looks set to be staying at the club for at least the next four seasons and hopefully he can fire them to Premier League safety next season.
