The Toffees need to bring in a new central defender this summer.
It is reported by talkSPORT that Everton have entered into talks with the Ukrainian side about a potential move for the player in the eventuality that Stones does leave the club.
The report claims Everton would have to pay £8 million for the player. Roberto Martinez would have got a good look of the player last season. The Austrian international impressed as Dynamo knocked Everton out of the UEFA Europa League last season in style.
Does Stones matter?
Regardless of Stones’ future, should Everton make a move?
They have lost Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alacaraz this summer as their respective deals with the club came to an end.
With that in mind only Stones and Phil Jagielka remain. Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway are good prospects and Muhamed Besic can fill in but Everton need another centre-back regardless of the England internationals future at the club.
Dragovic looked a brilliant player for Dynamo Kiev last season and looks perfect for the Premier League and in particular the style of football that Roberto Martinez will want to implement.
With or without Stones, Everton should pursue this potential transfer.
