Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox sent Burke a message of congratulations on social media after the news broke.
Fox memorably dyed his beard blonde last term for charity and was pleased to see the youngster commit himself to the City Ground outfit for the foreseeable future.
As per the coach, the Championship outfit are very excited about both the teenager's progress and promise and believes he can be a threat to any team at any level.
Brazil told Forest Player: "Oliver has made fantastic progress in the last year, developing a lot physically and improving his understanding of what he needs to do to make the most of his attributes.
"He’s a real threat to any team at any level. We’re really excited about Oliver and I’m pleased we’ve got him on a longer term contract."
