The talented forward has been finding the net regularly for Leeds' development team this summer.
Recently Leeds United have picked up a reputation for producing some top young talent. The likes of Alex Mowatt, Sam Byram, Charlie Taylor and Lewis Cook are all currently members of the first-team at the club and the likes of Lewis Walters and Kalvin Phillips are looking like coming through the ranks,.
But one name to be keeping an eye on this season is Eoghan Stokes.
Last night Leeds United’s development team took on non-league side North Ferriby United in a friendly. They lost the game 2-1, even with Lee Erwin and Nicky Ajose in the starting line-up.
The goal came from Stokes, netting against last season’s FA Trophy winners.
Stokes has been in excellent form recently. The 19-year-old scored a week ago today against Pickering Town in a 4-0 win, hitting a brace against the club.
Stokes unfortunately is a forward, which for him is bad news, considering the plethora of attacking options on offer to Uwe Rosler at Elland Road currently.
However, given the recent performances of the young graduates at Leeds, Rosler might be thinking about the teenager ahead of the new campaign.
Another idea is perhaps to send him out on loan considering his recent development and Leeds do seem to have another talented player on their hands.
