Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old but the club's social media staff have had enough!
Ok, this is getting silly now. So let us make it clear. There has been NO bid for Saido. That's it. Carry on everyone #wba— West Bromwich Albion (@WBAFCofficial) July 28, 2015
Indeed, the latest news on the Berahino front is reportedly that the north London side have made a £10 million offer for the West Brom striker, according to the Daily Mirror.
But the Baggies' social media team appear to have lost patience with all the talk, suggesting the speculation is 'silly now' and insisting that there has been no bid whatsoever for Berahino.
Spurs have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old forward this summer and a move makes perfect sense. The north London side will have to make their first move soon if West Brom's tweet is anything to go by, however.
The later Tottenham leave it, of course, the more likely Berahino will be to cost more. Unless this is all just a cover up for ongoing negotiations!
West Brom's social media team may regret the tweet if the striker is unveiled as a Spurs player later this summer, although they may well say that, at the time of posting, everything they said was strictly true...
