West Brom have confirmed there are no offers for Saido Berahino, but Tottenham fans have responded accordingly...

Saido Berahino's future continues to be the source of speculation in the press.

The West Bromwich Albion striker is strongly linked to Tottenham Hotspur, with The Mail claiming last night the club were stepping up their chase for the 21-year-old striker.

Seemingly fed up of the speculation and no action, West Brom themselves made it clear via their Twitter account on Tuesday morning that there have been no bids at all.

This statement however proved like a red flag to a bull with Tottenham fans, who took it upon themselves to troll the Baggies twitter account with their responses.

Berahino is one of the most highly rated young strikers in the country, and has played with Tottenham's Harry Kane already for England's under-21s.

He did not feature at the recent European under-21 Championships, picking up a knee injury on the eve of the tournament, a stage upon which he could have added to his price tag, or made his suitors desire to sign him even stronger.

He has since returned, making his comeback from injury in a pre-season friendly against Swindon Town at the weekend.
