Report: West Ham and Everton interested in Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele

Mousa Dembele

West Ham United, Sunderland and Everton are all interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele.

West Ham United and Everton are interested in signing Mousa Dembele from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to FootGoal.net.

It has been reported by the news outlet that Sunderland are also keeping track of the Belgium international midfielder.

Should Mousa Dembele leave Tottenham Hotspur?

Dembele has been on the books of North London outfit Tottenham since 2012, when he joined them from Fulham.

The Belgian is a very good midfielder and can play in different positions, but he is not guaranteed a place in the Spurs starting line-up.

Last season, Dembele featured in 26 Premier League matches, scoring one goal and creating 22 chances in the process.

The former AZ star had a pass accuracy of 89% and a shot accuracy of 33%, and won 20 headers, 36 dribbles and 20 tackles.

West Ham, Everton and Sunderland are all looking for a midfielder of his type, and it would make sense if Dembele left Spurs for one of those clubs.

Many will suggest that leaving Spurs for West Ham, Everton or Sunderland would be a step down for the 28-year-old, but staying at White Hart Lane for the 2015-16 campaign will mean that he will have to fight for his place in the starting line-up.
