Liverpool fans react to Andre Wisdom's imminent loan move to Norwich City on Twitter

Wisdom is expected to complete a season-long loan move to Carrow Road having previously spent time with Derby County and West Bromwich Albion.

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is set to join Norwich City on a season-long loan, with the Reds expected to receive a fee of around £1.25 million, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Wisdom has spent the last two seasons away from Anfield, at Derby County and West Bromwich Albion respectively, but was part of the Reds' pre-season tour to the Far East and Australia this summer. Prior to that, he made a total of 17 first-team appearances during the 2012/13 season.

In May, he signed a new contract at the club, as announced on the club's official website, indicating that manager Brendan Rodgers was keen to keep the player on his books, but with the Reds having plenty of defensive options, strengthened further by the signings of Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez, opportunities look to be limited for Wisdom on Merseyside.

Some Liverpool fans are happy that he is moving to a Premier League club to aid his development, some question the point in keeping him at all given this will be his third loan move in as many seasons, while others are speculating that this could mean a move for another defender is on the cards in what has been a busy window of transfer activity for Brendan Rodgers.
