Crystal Palace fans, get excited.
Redknapp believes Crystal Palace can beat anyone outside the top four, while they proved they could also beat members of the top four itself in the league last season.
Whatever you think of the 68-year-old, Palace fans will no doubt hope he has more success with his prediction than he did keeping Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League last term...
Alan Pardew says Palace can beat any team outside the top 4 and he’s right. They did well last year and they could sneak a European spot.— Harry Redknapp (@Redknapp) July 28, 2015
Palace have certainly strengthened this summer, with the likes of Yohan Cabaye and Patrick Bamford being brought in at Selhurst Park. More should be to come.
The Eagles' form under Pardew last campaign, meanwhile, was simply phenomenal.
What Crystal Palace fans may have to worry about is the traditional slump in form Pardew sides have suffered in the past. But the Palace boss did achieve a top-six finish with Newcastle United and an FA Cup final with West Ham United before things dipped at both clubs. So the chances of a brilliant season are certainly there.
