Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Berahino deal could go through early this week

A round up of the latest news related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Express has reported that Spurs are looking to wrap up a deal for striker Saido Berahino within the next 48 hours.

The West Brom forward has reportedly been identified as someone to come in and take some of the pressure away from Harry Kane.

The paper claims the deal will be worth somewhere in the region of £15 million.

The Metro has reported that Tottenham are looking to secure a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Patrick-Emerick Aubameyang.

The paper states that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen for Aubameyang to become part of the project he’s creating at White Hart Lane.

The source also states that Arsenal are interested, with the Gunners reported to have already seen a £28 million offer turned down.

Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane says the impending MLS All Stars game against Tottenham is a big deal for him personally.

Keane was a popular figure during his time with the White Hart Lane club previously during his career.

He will line up against the best of the rest from the MLS in a match against Tottenham, which kicks off in the early hours of this Wednesday morning.

“Everyone knows Spurs is a club very close to my heart, so this is a big deal for me,” he said on Tottenham’s website.
