Liverpool transfer round-up: Callum Gribbin snubs Anfield advances, French duo linked

All the latest summer transfer news from Anfield...

According to the Manchester Evening News, teenager Callum Gribbin has chosen to stay at Manchester United despite interest from Liverpool.

The 16-year-old forward has reportedly been a target for Liverpool, but has ended speculation over his future by tying himself to United until 2019.

Seemingly one for the future, Gribbin will be looking to emerge in the United first team in the coming years - and Liverpool may be disappointed to have missed out on him.

Meanwhile, Get French Football News carry a report that Liverpool held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Lucas Digne.

The 22-year-old left back joined PSG from Lille two years ago, but having failed to establish himself as a first team regular, Digne could look to leave this summer.

A move to Anfield would be surprising considering that Liverpool signed Alberto Moreno from Sevilla last summer, but Digne's potential availability could change matters.

Another French player has also been linked with a move to Anfield, as L'Equipe report that the Reds have an interest in Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout. The 22-year-old is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in French football, and could be a target for Liverpool if reports are to be believed.
