James McArthur reacts on Twitter after Cape Town Cup disappointment

Premier League outfit Crystal Palace failed to win the Cape Town Cup.

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win the Cape Town Cup.

Premier League outfit Palace lost the final of the pre-season friendly tournament 2-0 to Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon on Sunday.

McArthur is disappointed at the Eagles’ failure to win the tournament, but he seems to be looking forward to the upcoming 2015-16 Premier League campaign.

Big season ahead

Palace are an ambitious club and should be aiming for a top-10 finish in the Premier League next season.

It will not be easy, though, but given the progress the team made under former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew last season, the fans should be hopeful.

The Eagles have made two brilliant signings so far this summer – France international midfielder Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain and England Under-21 international striker Patrick Bamford on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
