Jack Sullivan gives West Ham transfer update

West Ham United appear to be keen on signing new players before the start of the new Premier League season.

West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan’s son has admitted on social networking site Twitter that the club are struggling to conclude deals for their main transfer targets.

Jack Sullivan has revealed on Twitter that negotiations are being held, and has assured the Hammers’ fans that players will be recruited before the start of the upcoming 2015-16 campaign.

West Ham have already made a number of signings so far this summer, the most prominent of which are Dimitri Payet from Marseille, Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria and Angelo Ogbonna from Juventus.

While the London outfit do still need to make additions to the current squad in order to push for a top-eight finish in the Premier League, fans should not feel too frustrated with Sullivan’s revelation.

It does take time for clubs to reach agreements and transfer negotiations can drag on for weeks.

What must be admired is Sullivan’s admission that West Ham are struggling to conclude deals.

Such an honesty must be praised.
