According to the Hull Daily Mail, Hull City are expected to complete a £1.3 million deal to sign Chesterfield winger Sam Clucas in the next 24 hours.
Reports state that terms have been agreed with the League One club to make the 24-year-old City's first signing of the summer ahead of the new Championship season.
A left winger, who was also used as a left-back and a striker by former Spireites boss Paul Cook last season, Clucas scored 12 goals during the 2014/15 campaign to help Chesterfield reach the play-offs.
For Clucas, a medical is the last obstacle remaining, but the Tigers apparently expect him to join up with them in Austria on Monday.
Boost for Norwich
It is also suggested that Clucas' imminent arrival paves the way for Robbie Brady to end a protracted transfer saga and join Norwich City for a sum in the region of £7 million.
The 23-year-old made 27 top flight appearances for Hull - who were eventually relegated - last term, and although he failed to record a goal, he ended the campaign as the club's second-most creative player, having fashioned 35 key passes, including two assists.
Brady would become boss Alex Neill's third signing of the summer, having already tied up deals for Youssouf Mulumbu and Graham Dorrans.
