Januzaj, Depay and Mata react to Manchester United's victory against Barcelona

Some of Manchester United's players took to social media after their latest pre-season victory.

Manchester United continued their 100 per cent victory record on their summer tour of the USA with a 3-1 win against Barcelona on Saturday evening.

Louis van Gaal’s side won courtesy of goals from Wayne Rooney, Jesse Lingard and Adnan Januzaj with Rafinha briefly cutting the deficit to a single goal in the final minutes only for the Belgian international to find the net.

That result means United have now beaten Barcelona, Club America and San Jose Earthquakes and they will be hoping to make it four wins from four games when they take on Paris Saint-Germain next week.

After the match, some of United’s players took to Twitter to have their say, with Januzaj, Juan Mata and Memphis Depay all reflecting on a job well done.

Januzaj wrote, “Very happy with the result today; great team effort and always good to get a goal.”

Mata reflected on a third win in a row while summer signing Depay hailed the good result before swiftly looking ahead to the PSG clash.

Given the players now at United’s disposal it will be interesting to see how many chances Januzaj has at Old Trafford next season, but if he continues to perform like he did on Saturday he is unlikely to be complaining…and neither is van Gaal.
