Rangers beat Hibernian 6-2 at Easter Road on Saturday.
Rangers made a flying start to life under new manager Mark Warburton, hammering Hibernian 6-2 at Easter Road on Saturday afternoon.
The travelling Rangers faithful celebrated in style as Warburton claimed his first competitive victory as Gers boss, sparking the emergence of the new era for the club.
With such impressive displays from a host of new signings already, Rangers supporters are understandably full of belief that Warburton has the club moving in the right direction.
As for the players, a number of new signings took to Twitter after the game to celebrate the victory, with Jordan Thompson congratulating Tavernier after his first half goal.
Tavernier himself believes that Rangers have now laid down a marker ahead of the new season, whilst Halliday celebrated the perfect way to start the season - even if the victory only came in the Petrofac Training Cup.
Finally, manager Warburton even used Twitter to celebrate, thanking the Rangers faithful for their 'tremendous' support in Edinburgh on Saturday.
