The Gunners boss has highlighted that the Gunners have attackers to return and pinpointed the team’s free-scoring form.
The Gunners are consistently linked with new strikers, with Metro claiming that the North London club are in the market to complete a deal for Karim Benzema currently.
Despite the rumblings in the media, the Emirates Stadium outfit have been in free-scoring form in pre-season - beating Lyon 6-0 on Saturday, with six different players getting on the scoresheet.
Wenger has highlighted the free-scoring form of his Arsenal team currently and from the end of last season; with players still to return from unavailability the club are clearly not panicking in the transfer market.
"We are open-minded but we are not desperate. Today we didn't have (Danny) Welbeck or (Alexis) Sanchez, who are big players,” Wenger told Sky Sports.
"(Jack) Wilshere didn't play as well, so we will have a good squad when everyone is back. We are open-minded but many clubs are on the market with big, big money.
"At the moment our squad is well-balanced quality-wise and numbers-wise.
"When you win the FA Cup final scoring four goals and score six today, it shows scoring goals is not our problem.”
Olivier Giroud has been the North London club’s first choice number nine in recent times, while Theo Walcott has made his desire to play as the furthest man forward painstakingly clear.
With the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck able to play as a striker and youngsters such as Chiba Akpom coming through the ranks, Wenger is not short of numbers.
However, with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Diego Costa and other world-class marksmen at other title-chasing clubs, a section of the Emirates Stadium faithful continue to urge Wenger to break the bank for a proven hitman.
