Crystal Palace Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace have the chance to win the Cape Town Cup.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the side’s progress to the final of the Cape Town Cup.

Palace got the better of Supersport United with ease, scoring four goals past them without conceding any.

Mile Jedinak, Chung-yong Lee, Jordon Mutch and Fraizer Campbell all scored in the opening 45 minutes, as the Eagles registered a comprehensive victory.

Following the win, Palace chairman Parish took to Twitter to express his delight at the performance produced by manager Alan Pardew’s side.

Big season ahead

Palace will be determined to win the Cape Town Cup and head into the 2015-16 campaign on a positive note.

The London outfit are an ambitious club and should be aiming for a top-10 finish in the Premier League next season.

It will not be easy, though, but given the progress the team made under former Newcastle United manager Pardew last season, the fans should be hopeful.
