West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Charles Kabore this summer, according to The Sun.
The 27-year-old Burkina Faso international is currently on the books of Russian side Kuban Krasnodar.
Taking a risk?
Signing someone from the Russian Premier League has a certain risk factor, but one suspects that the West Brom scouts have followed Kabore closely.
There will be a certain degree of scepticism and understandably so, but if the midfielder can be recruited quickly, then he will have some time to settle in with the rest of the Baggies squad.
One should not expect the 27-year-old to take the Premier League by storm rightaway or establish himself in the West Brom starting line-up straightaway.
Kabore should be given time to adapt to English football and not be put under too much pressure rightaway.
