The youngster could be set to leave the Nou Camp and the Premier League duo are keen.
It is believed that offers of around £4.2million will be enough to secure the young midfielder, with him not likely to feature in the club’s first team plans next season.
However, the La Liga and Champions League winners would insist on a re-purchase clause being put into any potential deal for their youngster, meaning they would be able to bring him back for an agreed fee in the next two years.
It is believed the player is positive about a move as well, with him not looking favourably on playing in the reserve according to the Sport report. It claims that he has been discussing potential locations with the club and has settled on the Premier League.
Everton or West Ham for Halilovic?
If it comes to choosing between Everton and West Ham, it is hard to decide where Halilovic may choose to go.
He could to favour a move to West Ham to link up with new boss with Slaven Bilic, who the player already knows given he was the coach of the Croatian national coach previously. They can also offer him European football in the shape of the Europa League.
However, Everton have a positive working relationship with the Catalan giants having previously taken and improved Gerard Deulofeu on loan two seasons ago and secured him permanently this summer.
Indeed, Halilovic may look at Deulofeu’s progress under Roberto Martinez and see a move to Goodison Park as the better option. Wherever he ends up, it seems the Premier League could be his destination this summer.
