James Tavernier enjoyed a superb debut as Rangers beat Hibernian 6-2 at Easter Road.
Rangers swept Hibernian aside in convincing fashion earlier today, clinching a 6-2 victory in Mark Warburton's first competitive game in charge.
After falling 1-0 down to an early goal, Rangers roared back to score six goals at Easter Road, with James Tavernier, Andy Halliday and braces from Martyn Waghorn and Kenny Miller handing Rangers a great victory in the Petrofac Training Cup.
Fans are now delighted with how the new era under Warburton has started, with all of the club's new signings impressing against Hibs.
The man who impressed most though was right back Tavernier, who has recently arrived on a three-year deal from Wigan Athletic.
The 23-year-old was impressive defensively and superb going forward, bending home a stunning free kick to pull Rangers level in the first half.
Fans took to Twitter after the game to laud Tavernier for his performance, citing that he could even play in the Premier League based on his display against Hibs.
Here is how Rangers fans reacted on Twitter after Tavernier's impressive display against Hibernian earlier today...
