Julian Dicks reacts on Twitter to West Ham draw

West Ham

West Ham United failed to win against Charlton Athletic in a pre-season friendly at The Valley earlier today.

West Ham United first-team coach Julian Dicks has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the side’s draw with Charlton Athletic today.

The Hammers were held to a goalless draw by the Addicks at The Valley in a pre-season friendly earlier today.

The scoreline left much to be desired, but Dicks does not seem to be too disappointed with the final result.

The 46-year-old Englishman appears to be satisfied with the performance produced by the players.

Pre-season is about stepping up fitness levels and getting in the groove of things; results are not of huge concern.

While the West Ham fans will have wanted Slaven Bilic’s side to win today, they should not be fussed about the final result.

As long as Bilic sees improvement in his players and keeps on getting his message across to the team, it should be considered as something positive.
