Ian Wright jokes about Mesut Ozil's Emirates Cup performance on Twitter

The Arsenal legend was delighted with the German's display - not for the first time!

Ian Wright has always been a fan of Mesut Ozil and wins like Arsenal's 6-0 triumph over Lyon won't change that any time soon.

Indeed, the former Arsenal striker took to Twitter in awe of the German's performance once again as the north London side swept their French opponents away at the Emirates Stadium as part of their annual Emirates Cup pre-season tournament.

And Wright joked that Ozil simply can't stop feeding - on or off the pitch. He was at his creative best once again v Lyon as six different goalscorers did the business.

After the 6-0 victory, boss Arsene Wenger purred over the 26-year-old playmaker, suggesting he has won over the Gunners faithful in full after proving the doubters wrong in north London. That, of course, can only be tested the next time Ozil's form or fitness dips. Right now, though, the Arsenal midfielder can do no wrong.

What does the coming season hold for both Ozil and the Gunners? Wright, Wenger and co are already delighted with what they have seen. But will it be the same old come the end of the season?
