Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey admits he would like Spain move in future

The Wales international has confessed he fancies a stint at La Liga further down the track.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he would be interested in a move to Spanish football in the future, as per The Guardian.

The Wales international has become a household name since moving to the Gunners from Cardiff and is a crucial member of Arsene Wenger’s side.

Although blighted by injuries over the years, Ramsey has proven that he is a top performer when he can string a run of games together.

Linked with Barcelona in the past, as per The Guardian, the Welshman has confessed that a move to La Liga is of interest to him further down the track.

“Obviously it’s very flattering,” Ramsey told The Guardian.

“They did the treble last year and it’s just really nice to be linked with one of the best clubs in the world.

“One day I would like to go over to Spain to play just to see what it’s like and to experience that.

“But at the moment I’m with Arsenal and I feel like this Arsenal team can go and be successful and challenge for things.”

Ramsey’s countryman Gareth Bale swapped North London for the Spanish capital in signing for Real Madrid and as such the Arsenal star will have a point of reference.

The versatile midfielder will hope for a clan bill of health ahead of the new campaign and will play a key part in the Gunners’ chances of success.

Whether or not he is good enough to play for Barcelona remains to be seen, but on his day he can be a devastating performer for Arsenal.
