St Johnstone striker Graham Cummins gets eyelid caught in zip in bizarre new clip

Scotland Football

Newly-recruited St Johnstone striker Graham Cummins made quite the first impression, having moved to the club from Exeter City.

Footballers have been known to pick up some bizarre injuries in the past, but one newcomer to the Scottish game may have taken things to a whole new level.

Graham Cummins only arrived at St Johnstone from Exeter City over the summer, but the Cork-born forward may have already made himself popular with his new teammates.

It comes after the 27-year-old somehow contrived to get his eyelid caught in the zip of his training jacket.

Painful, bizarre but somehow extremely funny at the same time, the incident was captured for posterity by his teammate Chris Millar.

Keen to spread word about this mega epic clothing fail, the St Johnstone star posted a clip of the accident on Twitter and urged users to spread the word.

It appears to have had the desired effect, with the eyelid issue proving popular with followers on social media.

So many questions come to mind when reviewing the footage, like how did it even happen in the first place and how is he going to get himself out of it?

But for now, let’s just simply say thank you to Cummins for making an instant impact at his new Scottish Premiership employers.

Granted, it may not have been a goalscoring one, but it is an impact nonetheless and one that could yet be remembered for years to come.
