Norwich's persistence pays off in pursuit of Hull City's Robbie Brady

HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Norwich City have had an offer of £7million accepted by Hull City for Robbie Brady.

The Canaries have identified the Republic of Ireland international as a top target this summer and have refused to give up the chase despite seeing several approaches knocked back.

Hull, quite understandably, have been reluctant to part with the 23-year-old as they seek to plot an immediate return to the Premier League.

Sales were always likely at the KC Stadium this summer, though, with top-flight predators ready to raid the Championship ranks for players of proven quality.

Brady certainly sits in that category, with the versatile left-sided Dubliner having held his own among elite company in the last couple of seasons.

Norwich have noted that talent and pushed hard to bring it onto their books.

HITC Sport reported last week that an offer of around £6million had been knocked back by the Tigers, but their resolve has now been broken by an improved bid from Carrow Road.
