Former Tottenham Hotspur and Scotland striker Alan Brazil explained on his breakfast show for talkSPORT, what he likes about Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler.
Rosler has been handed the big responsibility of trying to get Leeds into a position where they can attack the top six in the Championship, after a couple of campaigns where they have been way off the pace.
Rosler has the look of a man who is very serious about the job he’s been given and someone who will use his determination to try and force the team into a good position.
“I think he’s very focused. I think he knows what he’s got and he’ll just get on with it. There won’t be any whinging, he’ll just get on with it,” he said on talkSPORT.
Good early signings
One thing Rosler does deserve credit for is making good early signings in the transfer market, which have improved the squad options he has available.
He’s improved all areas of the side and has given himself multiple different attacking options, which should allow Leeds to setup in different ways once the Championship action returns in two weeks.
Most importantly, he’s been backed over the players he’s wanted to bring into the football club which shows a confidence in what the German coach is trying to create in terms of his vision.
It’s also significant that the club have managed to keep their core younger players at Elland Road so far this summer.
The youngsters played a key role under old manager Neil Redfearn last season and have developed to form the spine of a very talented team.
