A selection of the latest news concerning West Ham United.

David Gold has taken to Twitter to express his intention that West Ham complete ‘one or two more signings’ before the end of the transfer window.

The Hammers have already been one of the most active teams in the transfer market, with the likes of Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Pedro Obiang and Carl Jenkinson all arriving at the club.

However, the co-chairman wants to ensure that the Hammers are sufficiently strengthened for their Europa Leauge campaign, and the plans to start challenging for European qualification in the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have become surprise contenders to sign Yannick Bolasie this summer. They have reportedly submitted an enquiry for him, along with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, and Palace are said to be expecting formal bids for their star man.

However, Eagles head coach Alan Pardew is intent on keeping the DR Congo international at Selhurst Park next season.

Despite all the incoming players, a report in the Daily Mail has suggested that the Hammers could be set to lose two players - with unnamed clubs tracking Morgan Amalfitano and Diafra Sakho.

The Hammers are unlikely to sanction departures for two players who have impressed at the Boleyn Ground, but they may have to move people on due to the increasing size of their first-team squad.
